I visited for Oktoberfest 2023, and while all the food I tried was delicious, the spinach and feta cheese stuffed pretzel stole the show! Unfortunately, it’s only available seasonally, which is a shame. Even though it was a bit on the pricey side, I loved it so much that I ended up buying two—one for myself, one for my friends. I really hope this becomes a permanent menu item because no other pretzel compares for me now. They came out piping hot, with the cheese still bubbling, and the marinara sauce for dipping was the perfect touch. Every bite was perfection. The beers were great too, but that pretzel was the real star. I’ll be back this year for Oktoberfest, fingers crossed they’ll have it again!

Welcoming hub for friends to gather! Open until late, too! We only tried the draft beers, though, not the food. However, we were happy to find a real brewery in the neighborhood, not just a bar.

It's a nice little brewery with options to sit down and have a beer, or take out a growler to go.The inside space is nice, but what sets it apart from other places is a large beer garden that's a dog friendly space. They also have a lot of fun events with things like fiestbier for Oktoberfest or butter beer for Harry Potter trivia night.

Didn’t like I was told water was self serve when I ask for it. But the person sitting next to me got served water. Didn’t like their family sign about not tolerate screaming or running kids. Is an outdoors seating like other places and they don’t put up a sign like that. Came with my husband with an open tap and at the end bartender is going to ask if everything going to be on the same tap? I Guess next time I will pay for my own food and drinks or tell my husband to pay for his own food 😂

Not 4 star because their food menu in my opinion is limited. The beer is excellent. The country music great! We visited last Saturday, August 10 for the first time. Great service!

Enjoyed the IPAs and ciders.Appetizers were good, burger was charred, so some disappointment.Inside is smaller than I would have expected, so music was overwhelming.Deck was very nice.

We had a very enjoyable visit on a Sunday afternoon — friendly, cute, comfortable place with a great selection of creative and tasty beers. Our table tried 7 between us and enjoyed each one. Definitely worth trying out— and returning! Loved sitting on the deck and the pretzel with beer cheese was very good.

Great place to hang out. It wasn't too crowded when we got there ariund 5ish on a Friday evening, however, within two hours there were no tables available. The upstairs location was closed off. This brewery is like a house that was converted into a bar/brewery. A variety of beer types on tap to select from with limited food options. The bar tenders/employees are really attentive and courteous. Would definitely check this place out again on a Friday evening or weekend.

One of the coziest places to sip craft beer in the area. Love the natural decor and warm tones. Beer is tasty and rotating. Great outdoor space in the summer, and fun weekly walks through the nearby forest preserve. Staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. Wish it was open more days!

This is a special place... owner & staff are super-friendly, beer is far above average, small but creative food menu is superb, inside the renovated 1850's farmhouse is cozy and comfortable, and the outside is spacious with a large covered deck / yard area / fire pit / pavilion. Dogs are encouraged outside, families are welcome, and so is EVERYONE else. The owners' passion and devotion is obvious in all aspects of this business. My wife and I have probably visited more than a hundred small breweries during travels across more than a dozen states in the past several years and this one rates top 5 in several categories. And amazingly, this awesomeness is located in the middle of suburban Chicago amidst a sea of chain restaurants & bars. Please visit - and visit often - you will NOT be disappointed!

Visited 6 different breweries over 2 days. Liked most of them but Wolfden stood out. I ended up going both days because it felt so comfortable. Great staff and the owner was present both visits even working the bar for a bit. Best amber ale I’ve had in a while. This is what a neighborhood brew pub is supposed to be. Not a fan of the typical warehouse style breweries and this is the opposite of that. Worth a trip if you’ve never been.

Really comfy inside, especially in the fall. They have a beautiful, dog-friendly beer garden (dogs must be leashed). It's an ideal destination for a summer or fall get-together. Their craft fairs are top-notch.Cocktails are tasty and there's something for everyone. The food menu changes a lot but isn't the main attraction. Prices and food quality are okay, not amazing. We mostly come for the cozy vibe and good beer selection. It's a bummer dogs can't come inside, but we get it. The owner's response to Megan's review rubbed me the wrong way, but I suspect it was mostly frustration due to the complaints about not allowing dogs inside anymore. We miss a couple of the old friendly employees who always made our visits special. Haven't really gotten to know the new staff yet.

I love the beer garden, it is a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious beer and talk with friends. There are always many beers to choose from. I also like that the music is not loud so you can hear the people you are with. The only drawback is it seems like everytime I am there, there are a lot of screaming kids.

First time here to see Simply Elton. Outside, cozy area outside. Loved the inside feel too. Offers above average bar food and a nice variety of drink options. Never really knew this was here until a friend of our invited us. I'd say a hidden gem!

Went on my wife's birthday somewhat impromptu but the beer was phenomenal. Menu from their limited kitchen is ok, staff brought the wrong order and quickly corrected. That being said very little is holding this place back from a 5th star.Reasons I'm going back:-the beer-I can bring my dog-interesting yard like outdoor seating

I passed this brewing so many times I finally had to stop in. Many tables were taken but it's big enough that you don't feel crowded.Located in an Old house from 1851 the interior has a warm cozy feel like a cabin in the woods. You place your order at the bar and they bring it to you. I ordered a flight(4) so I could try some of their interesting beers.Boujie Fruit - blackberry & raspberry sourZombie Paczki- raspberry golden pastry aleGrandma Vi's Pretzel Pie - creamy strawberry aleBanana Fiasco - banana pastry stoutAll the beers were very flavorful except I wanted more banana in the pastry stout. They do have good options available but the chef was sick the night we went. They have many events planned as well as daily specials. Will definitely be back to try their food.Huge outdoor beer garden..dogs welcome in the outdoor garden.
